Tim Mooney
Chief Operating Officer
Tim has been a change agent for the majority of his professional career. With degrees in History, concentrations in Philosophy and Classical Languages, and an MBA, Tim brings a unique perspective to his work as a strategist, enterprise technology leader, and organizational development professional. During his early years at Accenture and IBM, Tim was a recognized leader in his practice areas. His client portfolio included 3 of the Global Top 5 Retailers in addition to a collection of other household brands, delivering programs with budgets ranging from $50m - $500m. After a failed startup attempt to bring a digital film supply chain solution to market in 2009-10, Tim returned to consulting working with clients to improve connections between business strategy, technology investment and organizational development. This led him to taking on a role at Zappos! leading Supply Chain Operations and Technology Product Management. Later, Tim took an executive role in Starbucks supporting business strategy where he put in place the frameworks necessary to integrate the global technology footprint across 73 countries (encompassing joint venture, franchise, licensee, and company owned entities) along with restructuring the digital technology strategy, enabling scale for groundbreaking mobile order capabilities. Tim then moved into an Executive Advisor role with Gartner, the global leader in IT research and advisory services, where his portfolio included CxO clients from multiple industries - manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, retail, government, energy, telecommunications, and higher education. Early in 2020, Tim co-founded an organizational development advisory firm focused on helping leaders (startup and enterprise) create adaptive organizational structures, leaders, and cultures fit for the highly volatile world we live in. Tim believes that historic traditions like yerba mate have considerable value in our modern world and is committed to supporting sustainable businesses that foster local economic development.
